Vivid Details

Also known as Aluminum prints, metal prints are made from sleek aluminum sheets where the image is transferred through dye sublimation. This involves printing the image onto transfer paper before heating or baking it together with polymer-coated metal. As a result, the metal print finish is basically the ink that merges with the medium, making the output sturdy and incredibly vibrant. Various sizes available up to 24×36″.

Glossy White

The glossy surface brings is the popular option as it brings out the vibrancy of the print. The white base allows accurate color. The whites of the image appear white and the colors appear natural and how you expect them to be. It offers a vibrant look with rich color and high contrast.

INSTALLATION OPTIONS

Metal Easel

Can be used to either stand your metal print on a surface, or to mount it on a wall. It is available for the following sizes: 8×10, 8×12, 11×14, 11×17, 12×12, 12×18.

Inset Frame

Adds dimension to your print positioning it a dramatic 3/4 inch from the wall. It is available for all sizes with the hanging wire as an add-on.

Stainless Steel Mounting Posts

Come in two different sizes: Large Standout Posts (1″ diameter) and Small Standout Posts (3/4″ diameter). They are available for all sizes.

Care Instructions

• For quick cleaning, dust your canvas with a soft dry cloth or a feather duster.

• For a deep clean, use a clean damp cloth to wipe the canvas as gently as possible.

• Do not display in area with direct sunlight to keep the print from fading over time.

• Avoid using harsh chemicals and abrasive tools that may damage the canvas or scrub away the ink.

• Clean with care and let it dry on its own. Don’t soak or spray the canvas.

• Avoid displaying or storing in damp, humid areas to prevent molds on print and warping of stretcher bars.

Solid Wood Stretcher Bars

Our solid wood stretcher bars ensure that the canvas print does not warp or bow over time. The rounded edges and beautifully beveled sides of our stretcher bars allow minimal contact with the canvas.

Rolled

Comes without stretcher bars. This unstretched option is perfect for transport and custom framing.

Image Wrap

Classical canvas effect where the main image continues over the sides of the canvas. It is more pronounced in the 1.50” stretching option.

Mirror Wrap

The edges of the image gets reflected or ‘mirrored’ over the sides of the canvas. It’s a good option to avoid losing details near the edges.

Solid-Border Wrap

The edges of a canvas can be any solid color you choose. It’s another good option when there are important details near the edges of the image.

Uses of Fine Art Matte Papers

Matte papers work best and are often used for photos and artworks that:
- want to convey a more subtle mood
- are vintage in style
- has a lot of pastel colors
- contains a lot of text
- have large swatches of solid or similar colors
- generally have lower contrast
- are black and white
- are required to be printed in large sizes
- must be fingerprint-resistant and easy to handle

Differences between: Regular Smooth Matte, Heavy Textured Matte, and Heavy Smooth Matte

These pertain to Archival paper (regular smooth matte), cold press (heavy textured matte), and hot press (heavy smooth matte). The weight (regular, heavy) and surface (smooth, textured) of the paper affects the overall look and feel of the print. Thicker, heavier papers usually offer crisper text and less ink bleed which makes them a preferred choice for artists. Smooth paper gives off a more detailed and well-defined image whereas textured paper conveys more depth and contrast to the final output. How thick or textured the paper should be depends on what you believe will showcase your artwork or photo in the best way.

Uses of Fine Art Glossy Papers

Semi-glossy and glossy photo papers are great for prints that have rich colors and tones, lots of imagery and minimal text. Our semi-glossy paper is an archival grade paper, and offers a very full color range. Colors really "pop" on this paper, bringing out the vividness of the photos and artwork that is printed on it--bringing forth a lot of details in the print. The coating on the paper significantly reduces glare and smudges from fingerprints, making it easier to display your work without worrying about damaging it.

Framed Fine Art Paper Prints

We use solid wood frames with optical-grade clear acrylic. The matboard is a 4-ply white mat with an attractive bevel at 45 degrees. The backing is kraft paper dust cover with hanging wire included.
